Caring Convenient Dentistry at 604 East Michigan Avenue, East Lansing, Michigan.

I was told that I had to get braces and get my wisdom teeth out or I would see a disastrous oral health future. I was told that I needed to brush my gums harder, and that my teeth were in bad shape. (I have never had a cavity in my life).

I went for a second opinion at East Lansing Family Dentistry, and this dentist said, "Wow, I wish I had teeth as nice as yours!!" Braces might help some, but they would be mostly cosmetic, and that my wisdom teeth are actually helping- I will need to be sure and keep them clean- but it would be unnecessary to take them out. I was also told to be more gentle on my gums because they had become irritated from all the hard brushing I started after my visit to Convenient Caring Dentistry.

I felt like Convenient Caring Dentistry broke my trust. They knew I had very little money for dental work, but insisted on major procedures with out cause. This is corruption of medicine at it's finest. Taking advantage of the poor because of your greater knowledge.

I don't know whether to hope this was ignorance or manipulation of the facts.

Now some 3 years later my wisdom teeth, and the rest of my oral health is in great shape.
