I have never been so disappointed by a business as I have by this locality of State Farm. My ordeal began when I wanted to purchase a vehicle. I requested a quote from this location.Naturally, they asked me if I had a record within the past year. I informed them that I had a speeding ticket in '17 and another in '16. The agent proceeded by giving me an okay quote (obviously I didn't have the best of records but I was living with my consequences). It gave me enough leg room to purchase the car and not be too worried financially. Fast forward one month and I receive a notice that my insurance price was doubled. The agent allegedly had made a mistake when making the original quote. I know everyone makes mistakes, but this one really cost me because I trusted this agent to base the decision whether I would purchase a vehicle or not. I put up with it and I payed double the quote(close to $400) . Fast forward one more month and I receive a notice of cancellation giving me approximately 2 weeks to find an insurer because of my record. This placed me under unnecessary stress as I scrambled to find another company to cover me. I found one and this one has given me ZERO hassles(It's been 2-3 months). As a young driver and a young professional I understand that making mistakes is part of life and we learn from them. Another mistake I will not make though is getting State Farm.
